Yulex is working to transition the energy used in the facility to energy produced from existing guayule plant material as opposed to fossil fuel.
How is Yulex® natural rubber made?
Equipment in the facility extracts microscopic rubber particles from the plant where they are suspended in the cells of the plant and then transforms them into purified latex using a variety of purification and conversion processes.
The result is Yulex® natural rubber, which is then shipped to medical device manufacturer customers.
