The market demand for natural rubber has led to expansion of rubber tree plantations and a driver of deforestation, carbon emissions and biodiversity loss as well, as well as human labor rights abuses. FSC® certification ensures that products come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.
Yulex plantation partners are FSC®-certified and ensure and monitor for abolition of child or forced compulsory labor, discrimination and right to collective bargaining. Our products are made of rubber from well-managed FSC®-certified forests that also provide schools location with computer labs, medical and dental care, nutritional guidance career counseling, and placement for plantation workers outside the sector.
