Yoga inspires and connects the mind, body and soul with the earth. Most yoga mats and yoga accessories use petroleum based materials, which add CO2 to our atmosphere and therefore harmful to the planet. And the few yoga products that do use are made of natural rubber source their materials from plantations with a long history of deforestation which is detrimental to climate change and actually adds CO2 to the atmosphere.
