What is ISPO? It's the largest trade show for the sporting industry. It takes place every year in Munich. This year was the first F2F (face to face) show in 2 1/2 years. There were over 1,700 exhibitors with their latest sports products to over 40,000 attendees from over 110 countries.
This was not our first ISPO, but when the first one was 30 days before the COVID-19 pandemic hit and then prohibitive travel restrictions in place worldwide, this ISPO just hit different and it was AWESOME!
Our booth was packed with visitors, scheduled and unscheduled, from start to finish. We had laminated YULEX foam samples from our 2 authorized manufacturing partners (AMPs) with many different fabrics on display. We gave away samples for watersport and non-watersport use. We even had samples of our still under development YULASTIC natural rubber fiber out. And what resonated with many of you was our PEFC-certified smallholder natural rubber sustainability program. Thank you for sharing your own journeys.
In fact, we were so busy, Team Yulex regrets not visiting our neighbors and scoping out new innovations and products. We vow to do better next year.
A HUGE Thank You to all the brands that had a scheduled meeting with Team Yulex LLC or stopped by (over 30 each day).
Each meeting was a conversation about transitioning to the YULEX certified supply chain including our PEFC-smallholder natural rubber, YULEX foam for hundreds of sporting good applications, and a preview of our new YULASTIC natural rubber fiber.
